Product builder & product recommendations
Route: /product-builder (Premium in navigation metadata)
Purpose
Product builder is where authorized staff define loan products (parameters, bundles, eligibility hooks) that origination and channels consume. Some deployments also surface product recommendations to staff or customers based on risk tier, income band, or policy.
What operators care about (business view)
| Input (examples) | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Product name & code | Appears on applications and contracts downstream |
| Min/max amount, tenor | Controls what applicants can request |
| Collateral / guarantor rules | Drives checklist completeness in underwriting |
| Rate hooks | May link to dynamic pricing or policy floors/ceilings |
What happens when you publish a change
- New applications pick up the new definition after the bank’s effective date (your change process).
- In-flight applications may remain on old rules until migrated-ask your product owner how your bank handles transitions.
Product recommendations (conceptual)
Recommendations are suggestions (ranked products, add-on offers) computed from AIS and rules-staff still apply policy and disclosures. Document exact UI surfaces (Customer 360 widget vs application banner) with screenshots per tenant.
