Risk monitoring in plain language

Banks need to know not only who was approved, but whether risk is drifting over time. AIS can support monitoring concepts that feed alerts, dashboards, and exceptions-depending on what your bank purchased and how channels are connected.

What “monitoring” means here (high level)

  • Quality of decisions over time - are outcomes stable as volumes or products shift?
  • Operational signals - are integrations healthy, and are decisions completing within agreed windows?
  • Exception queues - which cases need a human because policy or data completeness requires it?

:::caution Not a substitute for bank-wide risk management

AIS monitoring supports lending and credit operations connected to AIS. It does not replace your enterprise risk framework, AML/CFT programs, or fraud stacks unless explicitly contracted.

What AIS does not expose in this portal

Internal SRE runbooks, log schemas, and on-call procedures are out of scope for partner bank readers. Your IT team may receive those under a separate technical pack.

What your bank can do

  • Define which events should raise an operational or risk review (with AIS during implementation).
  • Agree reporting cadence (daily, weekly, monthly) for committees.
  • Assign owners for “first response” when an alert fires.

What AIS typically operates

  • Platform uptime and model deployment mechanics (as contracted).
  • Baseline monitoring capabilities shipped with the product.

Some architectures also support event-style ingestion (for example streaming transactions or customer updates into AIS for continuous monitoring). Whether Kafka or similar buses are in your footprint is contract-specific-map it during integration design, not from this portal alone.
